He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Gwaan Rude Association reached it. Basílio Mineiro came out of the goal in the 9th minute to try and stop a shot by Gwaan Rude Association's Gonçalo Corrêa. But to his dismay, Gonçalo Corrêa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. When Gwaan Rude Association's Sílvio Luiz de Queirós in the 21st minute got a chance for a shot 21st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Lafacity's goalie prevented a goal. After 22 minutes Lafacity's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was João Francisco Recife who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Gwaan Rude Association's corner João Francisco Recife fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Basílio Mineiro quite easily take care of the ball. Gonçalo Corrêa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 33rd minute of the match Ramón Rezende shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Basílio Mineiro showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. João Francisco Recife's late challenge caught a Lafacity's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gonçalo Corrêa to make the kick off. In the 54th match minute, Lafacity was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlos Fernando Bertassi to maneuver through the defense. A well placed Gonçalo Corrêa short distance shot in the 57th minute ended with a hard ball which without a chance for the goalkeeper went staright up into the goalkeepers left cross. In the 60th minute, Gonçalo Corrêa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gonçalo Corrêa in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Basílio Mineiro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 73 minutes into the match, Gwaan Rude Association's Gonçalo Corrêa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Basílio Mineiro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Arnaldo Saraiva struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Ezequiel Alves didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lafacity. After having played for 94 minutes, Gonçalo Corrêa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gwaan Rude Association's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gonçalo Corrêa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Gwaan Rude Association eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
