Lino Munhoz hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. André Luiz Campidelis hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. An unexpected shot in the 16th minute by Zé Pedro Meirelles got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Perdidos FC's Horácio Vinhas got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Waldemar Siqueira in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mário de Medeiros prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Leonor Futebol Clube's Anselmo Lucas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Leonor Futebol Clube from getting a goal against them. Claudinho Pena hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Zé Pedro Meirelles could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Anselmo Lucas made a huge save. Perdidos FC's Mário de Medeiros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafa de Lima in the 29th minute of play. Claudinho Pena made in the 31st minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Claudinho Pena. Horácio Vinhas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Zé Pedro Meirelles fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anselmo Lucas having to interfere. 38 minutes into the game, Zé Pedro Meirelles cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Anselmo Lucas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Horácio Vinhas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Anselmo Lucas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leonor Futebol Clube's Anselmo Lucas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Leonor Futebol Clube from getting a goal against them. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Zé Pedro Meirelles to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Horácio Vinhas in the 52nd minute of play forced Leonor Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Anselmo Lucas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 53rd minute Perdidos FC were awarded a corner. Virgílio Veloso went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Perdidos FC's corner Virgílio Veloso fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Anselmo Lucas quite easily take care of the ball. Zé Pedro Meirelles received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Anselmo Lucas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 60th minute, Waldemar Siqueira reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Mário de Medeiros. The goal made the score 1-1. Leonor Futebol Clube's Waldemar Siqueira was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 63rd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. In the 66th minute, Horácio Vinhas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Zé Pedro Meirelles managed to get in a good position for a shot. Perdidos FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Zé Pedro Meirelles was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anselmo Lucas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Leonor Futebol Clube's Claudinho Pena got a free kick in the 69th minute. Leonor Futebol Clube's Anselmo Lucas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Horácio Vinhas in the 69th minute of play. Perdidos FC's Wágner Cerezo managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Giovanni Barbosa in the 71 minute of the game. Anselmo Lucas came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by Perdidos FC's Horácio Vinhas. But to his dismay, Horácio Vinhas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Horácio Vinhas might have been able to make a better finish in the 77th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Anselmo Lucas. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Horácio Vinhas ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 80th minute, Zé Pedro Meirelles ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Anselmo Lucas was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. In the 90th match minute, Leonor Futebol Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Giovanni Barbosa to maneuver through the defense. Horácio Vinhas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Anselmo Lucas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee ended the match the Perdidos FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
