Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Váldson França made an important save on a dangerous shot by Carlos Fernando Bertassi in the 9th minute. In the 15th minute of the match, Pedro Paulo Gerber tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Váldson França saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Glauco de Queiroz got free with Váldson França in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match had gone on for 17 minutes, Arnaldo Saraiva took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Váldson França to make any attempt to save it. In the 21st minute, Pedro Paulo Gerber left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lafacity fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. With a little luck, Mafia FC's Váldson França got control of the ball when Diamantino da Rocha tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 29th minute, Lafacity's Arnaldo Saraiva dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. Lafacity's Basílio Mineiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mário Domingues in the 32nd minute of play. Mafia FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 34th minute, when Carlos Fernando Bertassi scored to the left of an out of position Váldson França, making the score, 4-0. 40 minutes into the match, Mafia FC's goalkeeper Váldson França had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Glauco de Queiroz. With a little luck, Mafia FC's Váldson França got control of the ball when Carlos Fernando Bertassi tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Lafacity's Carlos Fernando Bertassi slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Váldson França. That made the score 5-0 after 43 minutes of play.

The wind increased when Mário Domingues made the kick off in the second half. When Mário Domingues came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the Mafia FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mário Domingues couldn't finish the play. Henrique Alcântara hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Mafia FC's Váldson França played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matías Domingues in the 55th minute of play. If Arnaldo Saraiva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Váldson França showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matías Domingues, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. After some careless play in the Mafia FC defense, Glauco de Queiroz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Váldson França. The Mafia FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Váldson França should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Mafia FC getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Délio Lago hit a great ball. Váldson França came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by Lafacity's Carlos Fernando Bertassi. But to his dismay, Carlos Fernando Bertassi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 10-0. Váldson França came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by Lafacity's Carlos Fernando Bertassi. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
