After a rather tough play, Jacoca's Bo Lindberg got a free kick in the 2nd minute. Emil Jurăscu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Valdir Braga made a huge save. Wojciech Nienajadlo scored 1-0 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Valdir Braga, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Wojciech Nienajadlo took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Valdir Braga. Valdir Braga dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Wojciech Nienajadlo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Valdir Braga read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. In the 28th minute, Emil Jurăscu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Jacoca fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Emil Jurăscu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jacoca's supporters rose to their feet, but Emil Jurăscu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Valdir Braga breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Valdir Braga was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Wojciech Nienajadlo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-0 in the 35 minute of play. Valdir Braga was out of position in the 42 minute of play, and Wojciech Nienajadlo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Wojciech Nienajadlo really showed his touch with that goal: 5-0. Jacoca's Wojciech Nienajadlo got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Emil Jurăscu made the kick off in the second half. Davi Mendonça made in the 52nd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Wojciech Nienajadlo however managed to control. In the 59th minute the ball was on its way in behind Jacoca's goalkeeper Dé Leão, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Emil Jurăscu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Valdir Braga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 64th minute, Emil Jurăscu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Valdir Braga was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. Valdir Braga came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by Jacoca's Emil Jurăscu. But to his dismay, Emil Jurăscu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-0. If Wojciech Nienajadlo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Valdir Braga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Renatinho Vides, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Andrézinho Gerber charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Andrézinho Gerber the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Vasco Da Gama getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Andrézinho Gerber hit a great ball. In the 79th minute, Emil Jurăscu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Valdir Braga was frozen by the shot and now it was 9-0. Guga Pontes kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. If Lauro Berger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 86 minutes of play, Jacoca's Bo Lindberg made it 10-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Valdir Braga was left in no man's land by his defense there! Didi de Lima struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Dé Leão didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vasco Da Gama. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Jacoca had played much better football throughout.
