If Vítor Pimenta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Perdidos FC's Mário de Medeiros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Humberto Cruz in the 7th minute of play. Mazinho Alves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The supporters of Azevedo SS booed when Perdidos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pedro Paulo de Sousa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Raphael Coutinho came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by Perdidos FC's Horácio Vinhas. But to his dismay, Horácio Vinhas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Horácio Vinhas in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Raphael Coutinho prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mário de Medeiros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Humberto Cruz, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Raphael Coutinho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zé Pedro Meirelles in the 25th minute of the match. Vítor Pimenta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mário de Medeiros having to interfere. Perdidos FC's Mário de Medeiros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vítor Pimenta in the 33rd minute of play. 39 minutes into the match, Perdidos FC's goalkeeper Mário de Medeiros had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vítor Pimenta. Zé Pedro Meirelles received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Raphael Coutinho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Régis de Mendonça took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mário de Medeiros. Mário de Medeiros dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. In the 47th minute, Régis de Mendonça hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Raphael Coutinho came out of the goal in the 48th minute to try and stop a shot by Perdidos FC's Zé Pedro Meirelles. But to his dismay, Zé Pedro Meirelles quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. The Azevedo SS players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Perdidos FC were winning 1-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Zé Pedro Meirelles was the one to do the kick off. Mário de Medeiros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vítor Pimenta in the 56th minute of play. Mário de Medeiros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vítor Pimenta, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. If Zé Pedro Meirelles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Horácio Vinhas in the 60th minute of play forced Azevedo SS's goalkeeper Raphael Coutinho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Azevedo SS getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Mazinho Alves hit a great ball. After 62 played minutes Azevedo SS got a freekick which was hit by Régis de Mendonça. In the 65th match minute, Azevedo SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mazinho Alves to maneuver through the defense. Horácio Vinhas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Raphael Coutinho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Azevedo SS's Raphael Coutinho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Horácio Vinhas in the 71st minute of play. In the 71st match minute, Azevedo SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Régis de Mendonça to maneuver through the defense. In the 74th minute of the match Virgílio Veloso shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Raphael Coutinho showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Raphael Coutinho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Horácio Vinhas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 78 minutes, Zé Pedro Meirelles managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Perdidos FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zé Pedro Meirelles was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Azevedo SS's Humberto Cruz in the 84th minute got a chance for a shot 84th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Perdidos FC's goalie prevented a goal. If Horácio Vinhas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 88 minutes into the match, Zé Pedro Meirelles notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Azevedo SS's Raphael Coutinho. Raphael Coutinho was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 91 played minutes Perdidos FC got a freekick which was hit by Rony Madureira. After 95 minutes of play, Azevedo SS's Vítor Pimenta made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mário de Medeiros was left in no man's land by his defense there! Marcel Machado's late challenge caught a Perdidos FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marcel Machado helped the player get up and apologised. In the 99th minute, Marcel Machado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Perdidos FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
