Mário de Medeiros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emil Jurăscu in the 6th minute of play. 6 minutes into the match, Emil Jurăscu notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Perdidos FC's Mário de Medeiros. Mário de Medeiros was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 15 minutes into the match, Emil Jurăscu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mário de Medeiros. Perdidos FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Emil Jurăscu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. After 17 minutes, Diamantino Mangueira mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Jacoca and the Perdidos FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 17th minute, Diamantino Mangueira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Emil Jurăscu scored 0-3 in the 21st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mário de Medeiros, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Jacoca booed when Perdidos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luís Fabiano Pernambucano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Emil Jurăscu took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 27th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Mário de Medeiros. Perdidos FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 30th minute, Emil Jurăscu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mário de Medeiros was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. If Virgílio Veloso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emil Jurăscu in the 41st minute of play forced Perdidos FC's goalkeeper Mário de Medeiros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 43 minutes into the match, Perdidos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Emil Jurăscu came free, but Mário de Medeiros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-5.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Emil Jurăscu made a kick off. In the 54th minute Virgílio Veloso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dé Leão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Virgílio Veloso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Dé Leão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jacoca's Dé Leão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Armando Neves in the 61st minute of play. Perdidos FC's Mário de Medeiros proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save Perdidos FC from getting a goal against them. Mário de Medeiros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emil Jurăscu in the 66th minute of play. After 67 played minutes Jacoca got a freekick which was hit by Ulisses Nunes. Virgílio Veloso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 75 minutes of play, Jacoca's Emil Jurăscu made it 0-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mário de Medeiros was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 79th minute of the match, Emil Jurăscu got a very nice opportunity to score, but Mário de Medeiros was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 81st minute, Jacoca's Emil Jurăscu ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Mário de Medeiros. Mário de Medeiros yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-7. Mário de Medeiros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emil Jurăscu in the 84th minute of play. Perdidos FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 87th minute, when Wojciech Nienajadlo scored to the left of an out of position Mário de Medeiros, making the score, 0-8. Rony Madureira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dé Leão having to interfere. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Jacoca walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
