Gerson Cabral's late challenge caught a Montila Futebol ClubeCIMZ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gerson Cabral helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Montila Futebol ClubeCIMZ booed when Wascko of Gamar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gerson Cabral didn't get a good kick on the ball. Wascko of Gamar's Pedro Paulo Tinoco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by César Varela in the 13th minute of play. Pedro Paulo Tinoco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from César Varela, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. In the 14th minute of the match, Walmyr Marinho got a very nice opportunity to score, but Pedro Paulo Tinoco was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Guilherme Sá managed to get in a good position for a shot. Wascko of Gamar's supporters rose to their feet, but Guilherme Sá was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ivo Vander breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Wascko of Gamar's Pedro Paulo Tinoco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emerson Madureira in the 19th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emerson Madureira in the 21st minute of play forced Wascko of Gamar's goalkeeper Pedro Paulo Tinoco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 23rd minute of the match, Emerson Madureira tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Pedro Paulo Tinoco saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 24th minute, Guilherme Sá ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ivo Vander was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. 27 minutes into the match, Wascko of Gamar's goal looked a bit too open when Emerson Madureira came free, but Pedro Paulo Tinoco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Gerson Cabral was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 29 minutes had been played. In a very dangerous position, a player in Wascko of Gamar fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 28th minute. Penalty! With a little luck, Wascko of Gamar's Pedro Paulo Tinoco got control of the ball when César Varela tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 36th minute, Armandinho Botelho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Montila Futebol ClubeCIMZ's zone, Luiz Eduardo Fernandes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ivo Vander came out of the goal and Luiz Eduardo Fernandes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Doni de Lima hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. César Varela didn't quite understand what happened when in the 48 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet.

Luiz Eduardo Fernandes in the 55thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ivo Vander, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 56th minute, Luiz Eduardo Fernandes made a precise shot to the right of Ivo Vander. Montila Futebol ClubeCIMZ's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. Wascko of Gamar's supporters stood up full of expectation in the 76th minute of the game, when Armandinho Botelho after an extraordinary solo performance found himself with a golden opportunity in front of Montila Futebol ClubeCIMZ's goal. Armandinho Botelho was unfortunally a little to anxious and the ball went outside the goal. If Doni de Lima had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Wascko of Gamar's Vinícius Donato got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 85th minute Emerson Madureira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Paulo Tinoco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 87 minutes of play Wascko of Gamar's Paulinho Guimarães was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Paulinho Guimarães kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Pedro Paulo Tinoco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Walmyr Marinho, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Walmyr Marinho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Wascko of Gamar walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
