Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) 7 minutes into the game, Gonçalo Vale cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Vito de Moraes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Gonçalo Vale took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vito de Moraes. Vito de Moraes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Inácio Cearense fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amílton Paes having to interfere. In the 28th minute, Vágner das Neves hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 32nd minute Gonçalo Vale shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vito de Moraes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vito de Moraes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alexandre da Cunha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Amílton Paes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Yan Recife in the 36th minute. Yan Recife hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Joel Pontes hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Ernesto Medeiros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vito de Moraes having to interfere. After 58 played minutes Golden Bladers FC got a freekick which was hit by Vágner das Neves. Alexandre da Cunha took the ball and in the 61 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vito de Moraes. Vito de Moraes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Vito de Moraes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ernesto Medeiros in the 67th minute of the match. Amílton Paes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Inácio Cearense, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mário Penha recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Inácio Cearense sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Abertao's Amílton Paes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Inácio Cearense in the 78th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Abertao's zone, Inácio Cearense stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Amílton Paes came out of the goal and Inácio Cearense tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Amílton Paes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Inácio Cearense in the 83rd minute of play. The supporters of Abertao booed when Golden Bladers FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yan Recife didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Abertao's goalkeeper Amílton Paes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Abertao's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
