After a rather tough play, Golden Bladers FC's Vágner das Neves got a free kick in the 33rd minute. When Cléberson Mendonça was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 87 minutes had been played. 89 minutes into the game, Sport Klub Beco's Yuri Aparecido nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Vito de Moraes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Sport Klub Beco's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
