Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Arlindo Vander started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ramón Madureira in the 3rd minute of play forced Cuiabazinho SC's goalkeeper Delfim Trancoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Delfim Trancoso came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by BOA VISTA E.C.'s Claudinho Cearense. But to his dismay, Claudinho Cearense quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Cuiabazinho SC's Delfim Trancoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arlindo Vander in the 7th minute of play. When BOA VISTA E.C.'s Arlindo Vander in the 18th minute got a chance for a shot 18th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cuiabazinho SC's goalie prevented a goal. Delfim Trancoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arlindo Vander in the 21st minute of play. BOA VISTA E.C. were awarded a corner in the 22th minute after Cuiabazinho SC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Claudinho Cearense took the corner. Claudinho Cearense made a great header on BOA VISTA E.C.'s corner, it was just that Cuiabazinho SC's Delfim Trancoso managed to reach the ball for a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Arlindo Vander in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Delfim Trancoso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Alfredo Simão hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. When Alessandro Meirelles fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored BOA VISTA E.C.'s protests and gave Alessandro Meirelles a yellow card for diving instead. Alessandro Meirelles kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. After 33 played minutes Cuiabazinho SC got a freekick which was hit by Paulo Renato Gaúcho. Cuiabazinho SC's Delfim Trancoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eriberto Recife in the 35th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eriberto Recife in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Delfim Trancoso saved Cuiabazinho SC from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arlindo Vander in the 41st minute of play forced Cuiabazinho SC's goalkeeper Delfim Trancoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The wind increased when Nando Arantes made the kick off in the second half. Arlindo Vander who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 51stth minute tested the skills of Delfim Trancoso when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 57th minute Claudinho Cearense shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Delfim Trancoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Delfim Trancoso stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Arlindo Vander's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. Arlindo Vander who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 61stth minute tested the skills of Delfim Trancoso when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 63rd minute, Eriberto Recife reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Delfim Trancoso. The goal made the score 0-2. In the 65th minute, Adelino Veiga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arlindo Vander in the 67thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Delfim Trancoso, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 68th match minute, Cuiabazinho SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manuel Meireles to maneuver through the defense. Delfim Trancoso made an important save on a dangerous shot by Claudinho Cearense in the 70th minute. A collision led to Cuiabazinho SC getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Paulo Renato Gaúcho hit a great ball. Claudinho Cearense took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 71st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Delfim Trancoso. Cuiabazinho SC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 72ndth minute of the game Arlindo Vander who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cuiabazinho SC's Delfim Trancoso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. BOA VISTA E.C.'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Claudinho Cearense in the 74th minute. Cuiabazinho SC's Delfim Trancoso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Cuiabazinho SC from getting a goal against them. With 81 minutes on the clock, Luís Fernando Ceresso commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 81 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Cuiabazinho SC! In the 83rd minute, Claudinho Cearense left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The BOA VISTA E.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. With his leg Delfim Trancoso managed to avoid a goal in the 95thth minute, when BOA VISTA E.C.'s Arlindo Vander fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. BOA VISTA E.C.'s fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
