After some careless play in the Jandiritiua defense, Claudinho Cearense kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Raphael França. The Jandiritiua fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Raphael França should have stopped the shot. Arlindo Vander sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 24 minutes into the match, Ramón Madureira dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Raphael França, 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eriberto Recife in the 28th minute of play forced Jandiritiua's goalkeeper Raphael França to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Raphael França was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Arlindo Vander showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 30 minute of play. When Eriberto Recife, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 33 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Raphael França was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. When Arlindo Vander came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the BOA VISTA E.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arlindo Vander couldn't finish the play. In the 41st minute, Claudinho Cearense ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Raphael França was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. Eriberto Recife sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ramón Prata stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Rubinho Reis charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rubinho Reis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eriberto Recife in the 52nd minute of play forced Jandiritiua's goalkeeper Raphael França to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sidnei Nóbrega charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Gildo Gomes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to BOA VISTA E.C. getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Claudinho Cearense hit a great ball. Jandiritiua's Raphael França played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudinho Cearense in the 68th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arlindo Vander in the 70th minute of play forced Jandiritiua's goalkeeper Raphael França to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jandiritiua made a substitution. Nilson Freitas replaced Dudu Saraiva. Jandiritiua's Tiago Coelho was substituted for Gildo Gomes. Ramón Madureira hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Claudinho Cearense managed to get in a good position for a shot. BOA VISTA E.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Claudinho Cearense was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Raphael França breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. BOA VISTA E.C. walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
