Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Sílvio Figueiredo kicked off to start the match. In the 5th match minute, Cristal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Giovanni Pitta to maneuver through the defense. 11 minutes into the match, Cristal's goal looked a bit too open when Sílvio Figueiredo came free, but Jaime Tinoco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With his leg Rubens Trigo managed to avoid a goal in the 12thth minute, when Cristal's Luizão Arce fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Dadá Saldanha recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 28 minutes into the game, Luizão Arce lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Rubens Trigo. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maicon Cosme in the 31st minute of play forced Cristal's goalkeeper Jaime Tinoco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. CR Vila Xurupita's Rubens Trigo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Giovanni Pitta in the 34th minute of play. Cristal's Luizão Arce got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Erivaldo Catarinense struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Rubens Trigo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cristal. Giovanni Pitta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rubens Trigo having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luizão Arce in the 41st minute of play forced CR Vila Xurupita's goalkeeper Rubens Trigo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luizão Arce recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Erivaldo Catarinense struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Rubens Trigo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cristal. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Luizão Arce made a kick off. In the 54th minute, Felipe Medeiros hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 55th minute, Sílvio Luiz de Almeida fired a really elegant long shot, but Jaime Tinoco threw himself and managed to get hold of the ball just in front of the right post. Erivaldo Catarinense sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cristal's Erivaldo Catarinense got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 96 minutes into the game, Maicon Cosme was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. CR Vila Xurupita's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cristal the free kick.
