After a defensive mix-up in CELESTE's zone, Eriberto Recife stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fabinho Terra came out of the goal and Eriberto Recife tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Arlindo Vander who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 17thth minute tested the skills of Fabinho Terra when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 20 minutes into the match, CELESTE's goal looked a bit too open when Claudinho Cearense came free, but Fabinho Terra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With an all-out effort, BOA VISTA E.C.'s Fabinho Terra threw himself towards the right post 22 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Eriberto Recife, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 23 minutes into the match, CELESTE's goal looked a bit too open when Eriberto Recife came free, but Fabinho Terra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arlindo Vander could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Fabinho Terra made a huge save. In the 25th minute, Ramón Madureira made a precise shot to the right of Fabinho Terra. CELESTE's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Arlindo Vanders short, quick shot in the 27thth minute got Fabinho Terra to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 29 played minutes Claudinho Cearense rounded CELESTE's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 4-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arlindo Vander in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fabinho Terra saved CELESTE from getting behind. After some careless play in the CELESTE defense, Arlindo Vander kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fabinho Terra. The CELESTE fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fabinho Terra should have stopped the shot. In the 42nd play minute Arlindo Vander came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Fabinho Terra. 7-0. 45 minutes into the match, Eriberto Recife dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Fabinho Terra, 8-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 8-0.

Eriberto Recife took the ball and in the 51 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fabinho Terra. Fabinho Terra dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 9-0. After a rather tough play, BOA VISTA E.C.'s Eriberto Recife got a free kick in the 53rd minute. In the 56th match minute, BOA VISTA E.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Laerte Seco to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to BOA VISTA E.C. getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Laerte Seco hit a great ball. CELESTE's Tiago Gabriel Cabral got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fabinho Terra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arlindo Vander in the 61st minute of the match. Fabinho Terra didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Arlindo Vander went, in the 64th minute, to the upper right corner, 10-0 was the resulting score. In the 68th minute Arlindo Vander shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabinho Terra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fabinho Terra came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by BOA VISTA E.C.'s Claudinho Cearense. But to his dismay, Claudinho Cearense quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 11-0. CELESTE's Fabinho Terra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eriberto Recife in the 72nd minute of play. After having played for 75 minutes, Arlindo Vander managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. BOA VISTA E.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Arlindo Vander was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fabinho Terra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arlindo Vander in the 77th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 78 minutes, Arlindo Vander put it in 12-0 from a short distance just to the right of Fabinho Terra. 81 minutes into the game, BOA VISTA E.C.'s Cauan Guedes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fabinho Terra made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 13-0. In the 85th match minute, CELESTE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isaltino Pombal to maneuver through the defense. Claudinho Cearense took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 86th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Fabinho Terra. CELESTE's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Tiago Gabriel Cabral charged in rather forcefully in the 87th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tiago Gabriel Cabral the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 87th match minute, CELESTE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tiago Gabriel Cabral to maneuver through the defense. In the 89th minute Eriberto Recife shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabinho Terra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 91st minute, Eriberto Recife ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fabinho Terra was frozen by the shot and now it was 14-0. When BOA VISTA E.C.'s Arlindo Vander in the 95th minute got a chance for a shot 95th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arlindo Vander couldn't finish the play.
