Spectators: 7479 (Terracing: 5611, Seating: 1719, VIP seats: 149) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ernani das Neves kicked off to start the match. The audience was convinced that Ernani das Neves's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Luisinho Cavalcante was relentless in the 5th minute of the game. Luisinho Cavalcante tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ernani das Neves blasted a shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Luisinho Cavalcante having to make a save. A collision led to Fanáticos getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Benê Eger hit a great ball. Luisinho Cavalcante took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ernani das Neves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Anjinho AD defense, Tales Simões kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Danilo de Souza. The Anjinho AD fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Danilo de Souza should have stopped the shot. When Wágner Trevisan came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Anjinho AD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wágner Trevisan couldn't finish the play. In the 44th minute, Wágner Trevisan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Wágner Trevisan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Luisinho Cavalcante tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Tales Simões managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fanáticos's supporters rose to their feet, but Tales Simões was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Danilo de Souza breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ernani das Neves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fanáticos's Luisinho Cavalcante played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ernani das Neves in the 57th minute of play. When Anjinho AD's Ernani das Neves in the 61st minute got a chance for a shot 61st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Fanáticos's goalie prevented a goal. 63 minutes into the match, Fanáticos's goal looked a bit too open when Ernani das Neves came free, but Luisinho Cavalcante reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Benê Eger's late challenge caught a Anjinho AD's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Benê Eger helped the player get up and apologised. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tales Simões in the 71st minute of play forced Anjinho AD's goalkeeper Danilo de Souza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ernani das Neves could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Luisinho Cavalcante made a huge save. Ernani das Neves struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Luisinho Cavalcante didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Anjinho AD. If Vicente Mesquita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ernani das Neves in the 88th minute of play forced Fanáticos's goalkeeper Luisinho Cavalcante to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ernani das Neves in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luisinho Cavalcante saved Fanáticos from getting behind. In the 96th minute Ernani das Neves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luisinho Cavalcante saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
