Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Túlio Corrêa started the match with the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Falcões Dourados's zone, Maicon Cosme stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benicio Barto came out of the goal and Maicon Cosme tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nestor Toscano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Benicio Barto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Wesley Meireles fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rubens Trigo having to interfere. Benicio Barto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nestor Toscano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Nestor Toscano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 17 minutes into the game, CR Vila Xurupita's Tostão Braga nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benicio Barto made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nestor Toscano in the 20th minute of play forced Falcões Dourados's goalkeeper Benicio Barto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Nestor Toscano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Benicio Barto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nestor Toscano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 41 minutes in the game Romeu Linhares did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Maicon Cosme. CR Vila Xurupita's Nestor Toscano got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nestor Toscano stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Maicon Cosme came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the CR Vila Xurupita fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Maicon Cosme couldn't finish the play. Benicio Barto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nestor Toscano in the 61st minute of play. Olívio Coelho's late challenge caught a CR Vila Xurupita's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Olívio Coelho helped the player get up and apologised. In the 63rd match minute, Falcões Dourados was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Olívio Coelho to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 65 minutes, Maicon Cosme managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CR Vila Xurupita's supporters crossed their fingers, but Maicon Cosme was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Falcões Dourados getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Emilio Frederik hit a great ball. In the 68th minute Maicon Cosme shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benicio Barto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wesley Meireles hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. After 71 minutes of play, CR Vila Xurupita's Nestor Toscano made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benicio Barto was left in no man's land by his defense there! Nestor Toscano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benicio Barto having to interfere. After 86 played minutes CR Vila Xurupita got a freekick which was hit by Maicon Cosme.
