Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Túlio Corrêa started the match with the kick off. 10 minutes into the match, Falcões Dourados's goal looked a bit too open when José Pedro Botelho came free, but Benicio Barto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dadá Saldanha charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dadá Saldanha the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. When Cristal's Luizão Arce in the 18th minute got a chance for a shot 18th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Falcões Dourados's goalie prevented a goal. José Pedro Botelho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benicio Barto having to interfere. Benicio Barto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luizão Arce, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Falcões Dourados's zone, Dadá Saldanha stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benicio Barto came out of the goal and Dadá Saldanha tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Wesley Meireles might have been able to make a better finish in the 28th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jaime Tinoco. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Wesley Meireles ran back to his position shaking his head. Benicio Barto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luizão Arce, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 35th minute of the game. One of Falcões Dourados:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Cristal:s goal. Falcões Dourados's Benicio Barto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Falcões Dourados from getting a goal against them. Luizão Arce who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 42ndth minute tested the skills of Benicio Barto when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The throw-in from Dadá Saldanha in the 44th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Falcões Dourados's Efrain Rainerio. Falcões Dourados's Emilio Frederik managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Serafim Tasso in the 46 minute of the game. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Luizão Arce to strike the kick off in the second half. Benicio Barto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luizão Arce, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luizão Arce in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benicio Barto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 57th minute of the match Cristal got a corner. Falcões Dourados's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Serafim Tasso ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Falcões Dourados's goalie and right to Luizão Arce. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Falcões Dourados's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. After 61 minutes, Giovanni Pitta made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. Falcões Dourados's Benicio Barto tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 64 minutes into the game, Aníbal Paraíba was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Falcões Dourados's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cristal the free kick. Serafim Tasso made in the 68th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by José Pedro Botelho. In the 71st match minute, Cristal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luizão Arce to maneuver through the defense. 84 minutes into the match, Falcões Dourados's goal looked a bit too open when Giovanni Pitta came free, but Benicio Barto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 84 minutes of play, Cristal's Giovanni Pitta made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benicio Barto was left in no man's land by his defense there! Benicio Barto didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Cristal's Luizão Arce shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 6-0 in the ordered_time% minute. Benicio Barto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luizão Arce in the 95th minute of play. When the referee ended the match the Cristal players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
