Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Otávio Porto started the match with the kick off. The audience was convinced that Ernani das Neves's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ivo Leme was relentless in the 5th minute of the game. In the 6th minute, Fábio Magalhães ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Danilo de Souza was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Catanduva FC's Fábio Magalhães was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 15th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. In the 19thth minute of the game Ernani das Neves who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Catanduva FC's Ivo Leme was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Catanduva FC getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Walmir Lopez hit a great ball. Otávio Porto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Danilo de Souza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 24 played minutes Anjinho AD got a freekick which was hit by Dinko Švalj. In the 32nd minute, Wágner Trevisan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ernani das Neves in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ivo Leme prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Catanduva FC's Walmir Lopez got a free kick in the 37th minute. Vicente Mesquita blasted a shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ivo Leme having to make a save. Catanduva FC's Ivo Leme played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wágner Trevisan in the 41st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ernani das Neves in the 42nd minute of play forced Catanduva FC's goalkeeper Ivo Leme to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fábio Magalhães got free with Danilo de Souza in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ernani das Neves recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ernani das Neves made a kick off. A hard shot 53 in the game by Ernani das Neves from a close distance when the talented Ivo Leme managed to make a qualified save. Catanduva FC's players were relieved. Ernani das Neves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Ivo Leme tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ernani das Neves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivo Leme having to interfere. 3-0 became the score in the 71st minute when Otávio Porto elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 85th minute, Walmir Lopez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 91 minutes into the game, Otávio Porto was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Catanduva FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Anjinho AD the free kick. Otávio Porto hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. In the 93rdth minute of the game Ernani das Neves who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Catanduva FC's Ivo Leme was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Danilo de Souza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Otávio Porto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Catanduva FC were victorious despite being under pressure from Anjinho AD for much of the match.
