Haroldo Freitas kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. Otávio de Barros was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Haroldo Freitas in the 16th minute of play forced Tottenham's goalkeeper Otávio de Barros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Erik Secco in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nicolas Oliveira saved Niquini FC from getting behind. Tottenham's Otávio de Barros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erivaldo Netto in the 21st minute of play. Haroldo Freitas took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Otávio de Barros. Otávio de Barros dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Erik Seccos short, quick shot in the 30thth minute got Nicolas Oliveira to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Otávio de Barros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erivaldo Netto in the 31st minute of play. After 32 played minutes Tottenham got a freekick which was hit by Oséas Lira. 34 minutes into the match, Erik Secco notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Niquini FC's Nicolas Oliveira. Nicolas Oliveira was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Diamantino de Moraes kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Daniel Nascimento took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 39th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Otávio de Barros. Tottenham's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 46 minutes into the match, Tottenham's goal looked a bit too open when Haroldo Freitas came free, but Otávio de Barros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ulysses Cearense to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Niquini FC booed when Tottenham was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonathan Gonçalves didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 55th minute Ulysses Cearense shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Otávio de Barros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Otávio de Barros was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. João Adolfo Ferraz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Nicolas Oliveira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Diamantino de Moraes was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 76 minutes into the match. In the 76th match minute, Tottenham was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Diamantino de Moraes to maneuver through the defense. If Erivaldo Netto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Tottenham's Jonathan Gonçalves got a free kick in the 80th minute. After 84 played minutes Ulysses Cearense rounded Tottenham's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-5. When João Adolfo Ferraz came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Tottenham fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that João Adolfo Ferraz couldn't finish the play.
