Formos FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lúcio Esteves was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Cipriano Rosado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The supporters of Formos FC booed when Real Nexus C.F. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zé Augusto Brito didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lúcio Esteves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Wilian de Toledo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 12 minutes, Benjamim Brito put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Wilian de Toledo. When Edmundo Buendia fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Formos FC's protests and gave Edmundo Buendia a yellow card for diving instead. After 16 played minutes Formos FC got a freekick which was hit by Edmundo Buendia. 20 minutes into the match, Real Nexus C.F.'s Benjamim Brito sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Wilian de Toledo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 22 minutes into the match, Benjamim Brito notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Formos FC's Wilian de Toledo. Wilian de Toledo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the match had gone on for 25 minutes, Benjamim Brito put it in 0-4 from a short distance just to the right of Wilian de Toledo. Wilian de Toledo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lúcio Esteves, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. The supporters of Real Nexus C.F. booed when Formos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jean Zonta didn't get a good kick on the ball. Wilian de Toledo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lúcio Esteves in the 33rd minute of play. 36 minutes into the match, Lúcio Esteves notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of Formos FC's Wilian de Toledo. Wilian de Toledo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Lúcio Esteves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Evandro Botelho was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 47 minutes into the match. In the 46th minute, one of Formos FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Formos FC.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Benjamim Brito stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as Lúcio Esteves kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Wilian de Toledo. That made the score 0-7 in the 53 minute of play. Lúcio Esteves took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Wilian de Toledo. Wilian de Toledo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-8. After a rather tough play, Real Nexus C.F.'s Lars Kiil got a free kick in the 60th minute. The audience was convinced that Benjamim Brito's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Wilian de Toledo was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. In the 66th minute the ball was on its way in behind Formos FC's goalkeeper Wilian de Toledo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 68 minutes into the game, Lúcio Esteves cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-9. Wilian de Toledo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 75th minute, Lúcio Esteves left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Real Nexus C.F. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-10. After having played for 83 minutes, Benjamim Brito managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Real Nexus C.F.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Benjamim Brito was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Wilian de Toledo came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by Real Nexus C.F.'s Benjamim Brito. But to his dismay, Benjamim Brito quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-11. Real Nexus C.F.'s Lúcio Esteves got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Wilian de Toledo made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Lúcio Esteves sent off a good shot on target. A well done corner resulted in Lars Kiil drilling the ball in to score 0-12 behind Formos FC's goalkeeper. After some fancy dribbling in the 97th minute, Cipriano Rosado managed to get in a good position for a shot. Formos FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Cipriano Rosado was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ulisses Urbano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
