The Aesthetics fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Luís Fábio Vasconcelos should have stopped the shot. 2-1 became the score in the 61st minute when Magno Ortiz elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 67 minutes into the game, Sílvio Luiz Batista was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Malinha FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Aesthetics the free kick. Luís Fábio Vasconcelos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Federico Cebo, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Frank Fonseca ran back to his position shaking his head. For all the effort they put into the match, the Aesthetics players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Malinha FC.
