Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Oséias Vidal started the match with the kick off. Cristian Buenos short, quick shot in the 4thth minute got Joélson Fonseca to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Cristian Bueno recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 9 minutes into the match, Oséias Vidal dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Joélson Fonseca, 1-0. Enéas Capixaba recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Joélson Fonseca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Afonso Maia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the OvO FC defense, Cristian Bueno kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Joélson Fonseca. The OvO FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Joélson Fonseca should have stopped the shot. Joélson Fonseca made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristian Bueno in the 25th minute. OvO FC's Joélson Fonseca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oséias Vidal in the 26th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Oséias Vidal's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Joélson Fonseca was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oséias Vidal in the 31st minute of play forced OvO FC's goalkeeper Joélson Fonseca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joélson Fonseca was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Cristian Bueno showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 32 minute of play. In the 38th minute, Real Minas's Oséias Vidal dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-0. Cristian Bueno could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Joélson Fonseca made a huge save. When the match had gone on for 47 minutes, Afonso Maia took a quick shot and it went in 5-0 without a chance for Joélson Fonseca to make any attempt to save it.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Enéas Capixaba to strike the kick off in the second half. Enéas Capixaba fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilmar Almeida having to interfere. In the 61st minute Oséias Vidal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joélson Fonseca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 62 minutes into the match, OvO FC's goal looked a bit too open when Afonso Maia came free, but Joélson Fonseca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. OvO FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. Joélson Fonseca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Bueno in the 88th minute of play. After 90 minutes, Cristian Bueno made it 7-0 with a short kick to the right side. OvO FC's Joélson Fonseca tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Cristian Bueno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joélson Fonseca having to interfere. OvO FC's Joélson Fonseca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Doriva Amaral in the 97th minute of play. Real Minas walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
