Luís Fábio Vasconcelos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 18 minutes into the match, Luís Gustavo Linares had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Luís Fábio Vasconcelos. Aesthetics's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luís Gustavo Linares was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Daniel Matorin kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. 24 minutes into the match, Clube Salvador City's Luís Gustavo Linares broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Felippe Tavares didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Guto Guerra went, in the 26th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Luís Fábio Vasconcelos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luís Gustavo Linares, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Aesthetics booed when Clube Salvador City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Célio Almeida didn't get a good kick on the ball. Felippe Tavares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Magno Ortiz in the 35th minute of play. In the 43rd minute Cláudio Mattos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luís Fábio Vasconcelos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Frank Fonseca got free with Felippe Tavares in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Magno Ortiz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The wind increased when Magno Ortiz made the kick off in the second half. Felippe Tavares came out of the goal in the 51st minute to try and stop a shot by Aesthetics's Magno Ortiz. But to his dismay, Magno Ortiz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Caco Furtado took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Luís Fábio Vasconcelos. Luís Fábio Vasconcelos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. Célio Almeida lost his temper 60 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 59th minute, one of Clube Salvador City:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Clube Salvador City. Clube Salvador City's Felippe Tavares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frank Fonseca in the 66th minute of play. 67 minutes into the match, Clube Salvador City's goal looked a bit too open when Magno Ortiz came free, but Felippe Tavares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Clube Salvador City defense, André Luiz Peres kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Felippe Tavares. The Clube Salvador City fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Felippe Tavares should have stopped the shot. Felippe Tavares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guto Guerra in the 84th minute of play. In the 85th match minute, Clube Salvador City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luís Gustavo Linares to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 86 minutes, Luís Medeiros managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Aesthetics's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luís Medeiros was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 88th minute André Luiz Peres shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felippe Tavares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 90th minute Magno Ortiz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felippe Tavares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Felippe Tavares came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by Aesthetics's Frank Fonseca. But to his dismay, Frank Fonseca quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-2. Clube Salvador City's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
