Lúcio Esteves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilmar Almeida having to interfere. Doriva Amaral hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Ulisses Urbano came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by Real Minas's Cristian Bueno. But to his dismay, Cristian Bueno quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Cristian Bueno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Ulisses Urbano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lúcio Esteves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lúcio Esteves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Gilmar Almeida tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Real Nexus C.F.'s Rafael Vianna got a free kick in the 41st minute. Gilmar Almeida made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lúcio Esteves in the 44th minute of play. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Benjamim Brito managed to get in a good position for a shot. Real Nexus C.F.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Benjamim Brito was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gilmar Almeida breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 72 minutes into the game, Oséias Vidal was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Real Minas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Real Nexus C.F. the free kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Conrado da Fonseca in the 90th minute of play forced Real Nexus C.F.'s goalkeeper Ulisses Urbano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Real Nexus C.F.'s Benjamim Brito in the 91st minute got a chance for a shot 91st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Real Minas's goalie prevented a goal. Real Nexus C.F.'s fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
