An unexpectedly hard shot by Redent Evil in the 35th minute of play forced Malinha FC's goalkeeper Pedrinho Cearense to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 43rd match minute, Malinha FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cássio Diniz to maneuver through the defense. 44 minutes into the game, Elói Schmidt cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Pedrinho Cearense was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. In the 75th minute Federico Cebo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leopoldo Seco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when A.J. 夏侯惇 got free with Pedrinho Cearense in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Newtown EC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
