The OvO FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Joélson Fonseca should have stopped the shot. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind OvO FC's goalkeeper Joélson Fonseca, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Betão Catarinense came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Qjos MiLLano fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Betão Catarinense couldn't finish the play. In the 47th match minute, OvO FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bruno Pontes to maneuver through the defense. The OvO FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Qjos MiLLano were winning 0-5.

The wind increased when Enéas Capixaba made the kick off in the second half. Franciszek Zukowski might have been able to make a better finish in the 57th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Joélson Fonseca. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out.
