When the match had gone on for 12 minutes, Cristiano Loureiro took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Mário Trancoso to make any attempt to save it. Tales Esteves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arrebol SS's Mário Trancoso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Arrebol SS from getting a goal against them. In the 19th minute Tales Esteves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mário Trancoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 22nd minute, Federico Cebo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mário Trancoso was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Mário Trancoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tales Esteves in the 28th minute of play. Federico Cebo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. José Maria Trancoso hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Tales Esteves was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 43rd minute. Malinha FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Pedrinho Cearense took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Diamantino Zonta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

In the 58th minute, Federico Cebo made a precise shot to the right of Mário Trancoso. Arrebol SS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. The supporters of Malinha FC booed when Arrebol SS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlos Fernando Lira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cristiano Loureiro took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mário Trancoso. Mário Trancoso dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Federico Cebo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Malinha FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Federico Cebo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mário Trancoso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 85 minutes into the match, Arrebol SS's goal looked a bit too open when Tales Esteves came free, but Mário Trancoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tales Esteves in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mário Trancoso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mário Trancoso didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tales Esteves went, in the 88th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. Pedrinho Cearense made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Márcio Varela sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 94 minutes, Tales Esteves managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Malinha FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tales Esteves was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 96 minutes into the game, Malinha FC's Federico Cebo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mário Trancoso made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. Malinha FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
