Spectators: 7500 (Terracing: 5625, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 150) 3 minutes into the match, Timão Metal FC's goal looked a bit too open when Enio Abreu came free, but Mané Prata reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Aguilhadas's Enio Abreu in the 4th minute got a chance for a shot 4th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Timão Metal FC's goalie prevented a goal. The supporters of Aguilhadas booed when Timão Metal FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benjamin Pinheiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 8th minute, Célio Salgado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Enio Abreu in the 10thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Mané Prata, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Maurinho de Brito came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by Timão Metal FC's Jeremias Hermes. But to his dismay, Jeremias Hermes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After 16 minutes of play, Timão Metal FC's Jeremias Hermes made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Maurinho de Brito was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 19th minute, Benjamin Pinheiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 19 minutes into the match, Aguilhadas's Enio Abreu broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. 21 minutes into the match, Aguilhadas's goal looked a bit too open when José Carlos Abraão came free, but Maurinho de Brito reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jeremias Hermes in the 25th minute of play forced Aguilhadas's goalkeeper Maurinho de Brito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Maurinho de Brito made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jeremias Hermes in the 26th minute of play. 29 minutes in the game Bebeto Sousa did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Célio Salgado. Maurinho de Brito didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Guilherme Souza went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. A collision led to Timão Metal FC getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Guilherme Souza hit a great ball. In the 37th match minute, Timão Metal FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jeremias Hermes to maneuver through the defense. In the 39th minute, Tomé Cardoso made a precise shot to the right of Maurinho de Brito. Aguilhadas's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. After a rather tough play, Timão Metal FC's Jeremias Hermes got a free kick in the 44th minute. Maurinho de Brito showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from José Carlos Abraão, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Enio Abreu to make the kick off. Quintinus Fossati was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 53rd minute. Timão Metal FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 54th match minute, Aguilhadas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Reynaldo Bastos to maneuver through the defense. In the 57th minute, Timão Metal FC's Jeremias Hermes ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Maurinho de Brito. Maurinho de Brito yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-5. Caco Senna recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mané Prata took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luiz Paulo Paulista, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 64thth minute of the game Enio Abreu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Timão Metal FC's Mané Prata was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 65th minute Célio Salgado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mané Prata saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Enio Abreu in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mané Prata saved Timão Metal FC from getting behind. In the 67th minute Enio Abreu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mané Prata saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 70 minutes into the match, Enio Abreu notched a goal, 1-5, to the right of Timão Metal FC's Mané Prata. Mané Prata was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Aguilhadas's Leopoldo Barbosa got a free kick in the 73rd minute. With his leg Maurinho de Brito managed to avoid a goal in the 81stth minute, when Timão Metal FC's Tomé Cardoso fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 84 minutes into the match, Aguilhadas's goalkeeper Maurinho de Brito had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jeremias Hermes. Maurinho de Brito made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tomé Cardoso in the 85th minute. When José Carlos Abraão was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 88 minutes had been played. In the 88th minute, José Carlos Abraão hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Jeremias Hermes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mané Prata made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Caco Senna in the 95th minute of play. When the final whistle sounded Timão Metal FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Aguilhadas.
