Spectators: 7487 (Terracing: 5616, Seating: 1722, VIP seats: 149) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Orlando Lucas kicked off to start the match. Cipriano Campidelis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Horacio Diegotxe made a huge save. In the 8th minute, G. LINS 4EVER's Hamílton Leme ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Horacio Diegotxe. Horacio Diegotxe yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. G. LINS 4EVER's Caco Cavalcante played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Orlando Lucas in the 14th minute of play. 17 minutes into the game, PIRIPERI FC's Orlando Lucas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Caco Cavalcante made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cipriano Campidelis got free with Horacio Diegotxe in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 26th minute of the match Robinho Lara sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Horacio Diegotxe skillfully saved the ball. Caco Cavalcante made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Orlando Lucas in the 27th minute of play. Horacio Diegotxe came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by G. LINS 4EVER's Yuri Pires. But to his dismay, Yuri Pires quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Orlando Lucas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Caco Cavalcante having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Adrianinho Sousa during the 39th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, G. LINS 4EVER's Adrianinho Sousa got a free kick in the 39th minute. In the 41st minute, G. LINS 4EVER's Hamílton Leme dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-1. After 47 minutes of play, PIRIPERI FC's Orlando Lucas made it 4-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Caco Cavalcante was left in no man's land by his defense there! The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-2.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hamílton Leme in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Horacio Diegotxe saved PIRIPERI FC from getting behind. PIRIPERI FC's Horacio Diegotxe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hamílton Leme in the 58th minute of play. Horacio Diegotxe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cipriano Campidelis in the 59th minute of play. Horacio Diegotxe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hamílton Leme in the 95th minute of the match. Orlando Lucas's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 97thth minute, Caco Cavalcante skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the PIRIPERI FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for G. LINS 4EVER.
