Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ricardo Rosa in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Şenol Yaren prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 16 minutes, Ricardo Rosa made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. GRASSHOPPERS F.C's Şenol Yaren tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Ricardo Rosas short, quick shot in the 21stth minute got Şenol Yaren to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Pedrão Motta charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pedrão Motta the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After a defensive mix-up in Dreher F.C's zone, Erik Pitta stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Osmar Berger came out of the goal and Erik Pitta tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ricardo Rosa in the 63rd minute of play forced GRASSHOPPERS F.C's goalkeeper Şenol Yaren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Erik Pitta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Osmar Berger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 69 minutes into the match, Pedrão de Sena dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Osmar Berger, 4-1. Pedrão Motta kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. If Ricardo Rosa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 79 minutes into the game, Dreher F.C's Ricardo Rosa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Şenol Yaren made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-1. In the 86th minute, Pedrão de Sena hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Isaltino Furlan was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 94 minutes into the match. In the 94th minute, one of GRASSHOPPERS F.C:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for GRASSHOPPERS F.C. GRASSHOPPERS F.C:s Şenol Yaren showed great skill when he stopped Ricardo Rosa:s penalty. If Pedrão Motta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 99th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
