Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Eduardo Lima made the kick off which started today's match. After having played for 6 minutes, Natanael Arruda managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. F C Aion's supporters crossed their fingers, but Natanael Arruda was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Túlio Fernandes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kauã Soeiro in the 9th minute of play. When F C Aion's Kauã Soeiro in the 11th minute got a chance for a shot 11th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Leão da ilha EC's goalie prevented a goal. Renato Romero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luan Sanches, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Natanael Arruda struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Túlio Fernandes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for F C Aion. After a rather tough play, Leão da ilha EC's Luan Sanches got a free kick in the 20th minute. In the 21st minute of the match Ramón Tepedino sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Túlio Fernandes skillfully saved the ball. Túlio Fernandes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kauã Soeiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eduardo Lima had several of the F C Aion's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 28 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Renato Romero as he didn't even see the shot coming. Kauã Soeiro's late challenge caught a Leão da ilha EC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kauã Soeiro helped the player get up and apologised. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eduardo Lima in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Renato Romero saved F C Aion from getting behind. Leão da ilha EC's Eduardo Lima managed to work through F C Aion's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Eduardo Lima dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Renato Romero stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eduardo Lima's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. Hermínio Bezerra charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hermínio Bezerra the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Leão da ilha EC booed when F C Aion was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hermínio Bezerra didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 69th minute the ball was on its way in behind Leão da ilha EC's goalkeeper Túlio Fernandes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eduardo Lima in the 73rd minute of play forced F C Aion's goalkeeper Renato Romero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Túlio Fernandes made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Natanael Arruda sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Eduardo Lima managed to get in a good position for a shot. Leão da ilha EC's supporters rose to their feet, but Eduardo Lima was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Renato Romero breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to F C Aion getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Kauã Soeiro hit a great ball. Natanael Arruda recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luan Sanches hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Leão da ilha EC's zone, Natanael Arruda stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Túlio Fernandes came out of the goal and Natanael Arruda tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kauã Soeiro might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Túlio Fernandes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kauã Soeiro ran back to his position shaking his head. Renato Romero stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eduardo Lima's shot from short distance in the 95th minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the F C Aion players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Leão da ilha EC.
