Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Raúl de Medeiros kicked off to start the match. The supporters of Paraiso SS booed when Quijingue was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eliseu Sergipano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cacá Valladares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Roberto Prata was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Eliseu Sergipano showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 11 minute of play. In the 15th minute, Diego Neves made a precise shot to the right of Roberto Prata. Paraiso SS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Cacá Valladares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Geraldo de Almeida, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Roberto Prata was a little too slow when Eliseu Sergipano got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 21st minute. The score was now 3-0. Roberto Prata showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raúl de Medeiros, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. If Luís Fernando Moura had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raúl de Medeiros in the 43rd minute of play forced Paraiso SS's goalkeeper Roberto Prata to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 47thth minute of the game Geraldo de Almeida who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Quijingue's Cacá Valladares was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

In the 51st minute Eliseu Sergipano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roberto Prata saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cacá Valladares made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Geraldo de Almeida sent off a good shot on target. Roberto Prata made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eliseu Sergipano in the 57th minute of play. In the 73rd minute, Raúl de Medeiros ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Roberto Prata was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. Paraiso SS's Roberto Prata played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raúl de Medeiros in the 77th minute of play. 80 minutes into the match, Paraiso SS's goal looked a bit too open when Eliseu Sergipano came free, but Roberto Prata reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cacá Valladares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luís Fernando Moura in the 84th minute of play. After some careless play in the Paraiso SS defense, Danilo Britto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Roberto Prata. The Paraiso SS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Roberto Prata should have stopped the shot. 91 minutes into the match, Paraiso SS's goal looked a bit too open when Diego Neves came free, but Roberto Prata reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Danilo Britto's late challenge caught a Paraiso SS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Danilo Britto helped the player get up and apologised. There was no doubt that Quijingue were the better team. Quijingue's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
