Leão da ilha EC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eduardo Lima in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luiz Fernando Ceresso saved Jacareipe from getting behind. 16 minutes into the match, Doni Perez dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Túlio Fernandes, 3-0. If Eduardo Lima had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Túlio Fernandes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Doni Perez in the 25th minute of play. Luiz Saldanha kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. In the 30th minute Doni Perez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Túlio Fernandes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Leão da ilha EC's Túlio Fernandes got control of the ball when Luan Rosa tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eduardo Lima in the 32nd minute of play forced Jacareipe's goalkeeper Luiz Fernando Ceresso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luiz Saldanha came free with the goalkeeper in the 35th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Túlio Fernandes could save by the left post. When Leão da ilha EC's Eduardo Lima in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The wind increased when Eduardo Lima made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Leão da ilha EC getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Inácio Nogueira hit a great ball. After 54 played minutes, Jacareipe's Dorian Salgado shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Túlio Fernandes came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Jacareipe reached it. Túlio Fernandes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luiz Saldanha in the 56th minute of the match. Leão da ilha EC's Túlio Fernandes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Doni Perez in the 63rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Jacareipe's Hélio Cordeiro got a free kick in the 65th minute. Inácio Nogueira kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Doni Perez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jacareipe's supporters rose to their feet, but Doni Perez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Túlio Fernandes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Luiz Saldanha charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Luiz Saldanha the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Jacareipe getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Luiz Saldanha hit a great ball. After 77 played minutes Leão da ilha EC got a freekick which was hit by Luan Sanches. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Doni Perez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jacareipe's supporters rose to their feet, but Doni Perez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Túlio Fernandes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Luiz Saldanha was shown his second yellow card after 83 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Luiz Saldanha kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Eduardo Limas short, quick shot in the 85thth minute got Luiz Fernando Ceresso to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 87 minutes into the match, Leão da ilha EC's goal looked a bit too open when Luan Rosa came free, but Túlio Fernandes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee felt a red card was in order, 90 minutes into the game, when Hélio Cordeiro put in a rough tackle. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Jacareipe had won after a very even match.
