After a rather tough play, GRASSHOPPERS F.C's Gabriel de Sena got a free kick in the 23rd minute. After 52 minutes of play GRASSHOPPERS F.C's Gabriel de Sena was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. When Beto de Moraes came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Taboquinho AD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Beto de Moraes couldn't finish the play. Erik Pitta kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Şenol Yaren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hortêncio Santana, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. 60 minutes into the game, Hortêncio Santana cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Şenol Yaren was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Pedrão de Sena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. GRASSHOPPERS F.C's Şenol Yaren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Beto de Moraes in the 66th minute of play. 67 minutes into the game, Washington Magalhães cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Şenol Yaren was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Pedrão de Sena received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Ciro Dantas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 76 played minutes GRASSHOPPERS F.C got a freekick which was hit by Isaltino Furlan. In the 78thth minute of the game Hortêncio Santana who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but GRASSHOPPERS F.C's Şenol Yaren was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Taboquinho AD booed when GRASSHOPPERS F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alan Tande didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pedrão Motta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ciro Dantas having to interfere. Cássio Reis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the final whistle sounded GRASSHOPPERS F.C left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Taboquinho AD.
