Vassilis Gountelitsas might have been able to make a better finish in the 26th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kaká Guimarães. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Vassilis Gountelitsas ran back to his position shaking his head. Baturalp Baykoca kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Oscar Aguiar's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kaká Guimarães was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 52nd minute, but Kaká Guimarães got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving Só Canela FC - FSCMZ hanging dry this time. Vassilis Gountelitsas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kaká Guimarães read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. Bambuhy's Yaman Ertaş quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Vassilis Gountelitsas charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vassilis Gountelitsas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 92 played minutes Bambuhy got a freekick which was hit by Vassilis Gountelitsas. Bambuhy's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
