Spectators: 7572 (Terracing: 5680, Seating: 1741, VIP seats: 151) AnD VasCo's Humberto Urbano started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. AnD VasCo's Otávio Dante played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hernani Cerezo in the 4th minute of play. After some careless play in the XI PRIMOS FC defense, Valdemar Matos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Loyd Hartshorn. The XI PRIMOS FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Loyd Hartshorn should have stopped the shot. In the 10th minute of the game Ivo Penha made a throw-in which Duda Netto played forward. Fellipe Rosa's late challenge caught a XI PRIMOS FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fellipe Rosa helped the player get up and apologised. XI PRIMOS FC's Giuseppe Loureiro was substituted for Serginho Zanette. After 25 played minutes AnD VasCo got a freekick which was hit by Fellipe Rosa. XI PRIMOS FC's Hernani Cerezo got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Loyd Hartshorn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dagoberto Prestes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 35th minute, Narciso Martins hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 49 minutes into the match, XI PRIMOS FC's goal looked a bit too open when Dagoberto Prestes came free, but Loyd Hartshorn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half AnD VasCo were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Felippe Trevisan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Loyd Hartshorn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dagoberto Prestes in the 56th minute of the match. Edmundo Toscano struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Loyd Hartshorn didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AnD VasCo. Otávio Dante made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hernani Cerezo in the 63rd minute of play. Loyd Hartshorn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dagoberto Prestes in the 65th minute of the match. 69 minutes into the match, XI PRIMOS FC's Hernani Cerezo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Otávio Dante narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 70th minute Dagoberto Prestes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Loyd Hartshorn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 71 minutes, Caetano da Rocha mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the XI PRIMOS FC and the AnD VasCo players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to XI PRIMOS FC getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Caetano da Rocha hit a great ball. In the 73rd match minute, XI PRIMOS FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Giuseppe Loureiro to maneuver through the defense. XI PRIMOS FC made a substitution. Elano Soares replaced Felippe Trevisan. A collision led to XI PRIMOS FC getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Giuseppe Loureiro hit a great ball. In the 81st match minute, XI PRIMOS FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Caetano da Rocha to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Elano Soares during the 84th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Otávio Dante came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by XI PRIMOS FC's Hernani Cerezo. But to his dismay, Hernani Cerezo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
