Spectators: 7472 (Terracing: 5605, Seating: 1718, VIP seats: 149) FC Leões's Alvise Di Muzio started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, FC Leões's Sandrinho Senna got a free kick in the 2nd minute. After 5 played minutes FC Leões got a freekick which was hit by Sandrinho Senna. In the 10th minute, one of FC Leões:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for FC Leões. 22 minutes into the match, Hummel Fc's goal looked a bit too open when Ronaldão Novaes came free, but José de Azevedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vitório Alvarenga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodriguinho Peixoto in the 28th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in FC Leões's zone, Rodriguinho Peixoto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vitório Alvarenga came out of the goal and Rodriguinho Peixoto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 31st minute Rodriguinho Peixoto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vitório Alvarenga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ronaldão Novaes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José de Azevedo having to interfere. 47 minutes into the game, Rodriguinho Peixoto was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hummel Fc's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Leões the free kick. Rodriguinho Peixoto kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rodriguinho Peixoto stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 57th minute Rodriguinho Peixoto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vitório Alvarenga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sandrinho Senna hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. In the 68th minute of the match, Rodriguinho Peixoto tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Vitório Alvarenga saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. When Rodriguinho Peixoto came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Hummel Fc fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rodriguinho Peixoto couldn't finish the play. In the 74thth minute of the game Rodriguinho Peixoto who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Leões's Vitório Alvarenga was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Serafim Amorims short, quick shot in the 76thth minute got Vitório Alvarenga to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Serafim Amorim recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alvise Di Muzio during the 82nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Serafim Amorim hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Zé Pedro Britto came free with the goalkeeper in the 88th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Vitório Alvarenga could save by the left post. A collision led to Hummel Fc getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Manoel Lucas hit a great ball. In the 91st match minute, FC Leões was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ronaldão Novaes to maneuver through the defense. 95 minutes into the match, FC Leões's goal looked a bit too open when Rodriguinho Peixoto came free, but Vitório Alvarenga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Hummel Fc had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
