Spectators: 7555 (Terracing: 5668, Seating: 1737, VIP seats: 150) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. After a rather tough play, Cheruan's Afonsinho Cerezo got a free kick in the 13th minute. After 17 played minutes Cheruan got a freekick which was hit by Roberto Vander. Felippe Trevisan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to XI PRIMOS FC getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Narciso Martins hit a great ball. In the 20th minute, Hortêncio Loureiro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Loyd Hartshorn was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 26 minutes into the match, Hernani Cerezo notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Cheruan's Cacá Botelho. Cacá Botelho was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Roberto Vander during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Loyd Hartshorn didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Manoel Perez went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Felippe Trevisan's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 34thth minute, Cacá Botelho skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 35th minute Dorian Fernandes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Loyd Hartshorn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cacá Botelho made an important save on a dangerous shot by Felippe Trevisan in the 37th minute. In the 44th match minute, XI PRIMOS FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Caetano da Rocha to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to XI PRIMOS FC getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Thiago Dracena hit a great ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dorian Fernandes to make the kick off. Cacá Botelho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felippe Trevisan, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Dorian Fernandes struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Loyd Hartshorn didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cheruan. The XI PRIMOS FC fans' excitement grew in the 58th match minute when XI PRIMOS FC's Felippe Trevisan looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Serginho Zanette in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cacá Botelho saved Cheruan from getting behind. Dorian Fernandes hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. XI PRIMOS FC made a substitution. Rafael Britto replaced Alan Toledo. The supporters of XI PRIMOS FC booed when Cheruan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dorian Fernandes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hortêncio Loureiro's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Loyd Hartshorn firmly grabbed it by the left post. Cacá Botelho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elano Soares, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. XI PRIMOS FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
