Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Dorian Fernandes got the match started through his kick off. In the 4th minute, Cheruan's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after João Francisco Moreno fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Cacá Botelho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hudson Aparecido, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. Leandro Marques made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dorian Fernandes in the 18th minute of play. Hudson Aparecido recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Leandro Marques stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hortêncio Loureiro's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hortêncio Loureiro in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leandro Marques saved Jacampari EC from getting behind. 24 minutes into the game, Dorian Fernandes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Leandro Marques was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Cacá Botelho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hudson Aparecido, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 33rd minute, João Francisco Moreno made a precise shot to the right of Cacá Botelho. Cheruan's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Dorian Fernandes struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Leandro Marques didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cheruan. After having played for 40 minutes, Hortêncio Loureiro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cheruan's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hortêncio Loureiro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hudson Aparecido stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 52 minutes of play, Jacampari EC's Hudson Aparecido made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cacá Botelho was left in no man's land by his defense there! 56 minutes into the match, Cheruan's goal looked a bit too open when Hudson Aparecido came free, but Cacá Botelho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 57th match minute, Cheruan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manoel Perez to maneuver through the defense. In the 58th minute, João Francisco Moreno ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cacá Botelho was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. João Francisco Moreno blasted a shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cacá Botelho having to make a save. Manoel Perez hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Hudson Aparecido struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Cacá Botelho didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jacampari EC. In the 67th match minute, Cheruan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manoel Perez to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Hudson Aparecido's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cacá Botelho was relentless in the 68th minute of the game. Cacá Botelho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hudson Aparecido, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. In the 74th minute, Dorian Fernandes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cheruan fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. A collision led to Jacampari EC getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Rafinha Pinheiro hit a great ball. Dorian Fernandes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. João Francisco Moreno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cacá Botelho having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Jacampari EC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Cheruan had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
