Humberto Fantini took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Enio Moreno, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Walt Disney booed when AnD VasCo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Velislav Irinchev didn't get a good kick on the ball. Enio Moreno blasted a shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Humberto Fantini having to make a save. After some careless play in the Walt Disney defense, Dagoberto Prestes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Humberto Fantini. The Walt Disney fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Humberto Fantini should have stopped the shot. A collision led to AnD VasCo getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Velislav Irinchev hit a great ball. Gugu da Mata was extremely unlucky when he, in the 17th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. AnD VasCo's goalkeeper couldn't reach when José Paulo Tavares 17 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-1. 21 minutes into the match, Walt Disney's goal looked a bit too open when Genílson Ferreira came free, but Humberto Fantini reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 22 played minutes Walt Disney got a freekick which was hit by Váldson de Salles. Genílson Ferreira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Humberto Fantini having to interfere. When Dagoberto Prestes came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the AnD VasCo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dagoberto Prestes couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Enio Moreno in the 26th minute of play forced Walt Disney's goalkeeper Humberto Fantini to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 33 played minutes Walt Disney got a freekick which was hit by Luan Rocha. 42 minutes into the match, AnD VasCo's goal looked a bit too open when José Paulo Tavares came free, but Otávio Dante reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dagoberto Prestes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Humberto Fantini tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Humberto Fantini made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enio Moreno in the 46th minute of play. After 47 minutes of play, AnD VasCo's Dagoberto Prestes made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Humberto Fantini was left in no man's land by his defense there! The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dagoberto Prestes was the one to do the kick off. AnD VasCo's Otávio Dante played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gugu da Mata in the 53rd minute of play. In the 56th minute, Velislav Irinchev hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 57th minute José Paulo Tavares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Otávio Dante saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gugu da Mata took the ball and in the 58 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Otávio Dante. Otávio Dante dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. Kiko Braga could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Humberto Fantini made a huge save. 67 minutes into the match, Walt Disney's goalkeeper Humberto Fantini had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dagoberto Prestes. Humberto Fantini showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Enio Moreno in the 68th minute of the match. AnD VasCo's Otávio Dante played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by José Paulo Tavares in the 73rd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dagoberto Prestes got free with Humberto Fantini in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Humberto Fantini showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Enio Moreno in the 78th minute of the match. 83 minutes into the match, Walt Disney's goalkeeper Humberto Fantini had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Genílson Ferreira. Humberto Fantini didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dagoberto Prestes went, in the 85th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-4 was the resulting score. In the 92nd minute, AnD VasCo's Telmo de Barros ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Humberto Fantini. Humberto Fantini yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-5. 95 minutes into the game, Genílson Ferreira recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Humberto Fantini. Genílson Ferreira showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-6. The Walt Disney fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. AnD VasCo were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
