The attack was good, but when Sydney Monteiro in the 4th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. In the 5th minute, Sydney Monteiro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Caresalzinho SS's Hugo Palmeira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dorian Fernandes in the 9th minute of play. If Pedrão Camargo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cacá Botelho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sydney Monteiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. The supporters of Caresalzinho SS booed when Cheruan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hortêncio Maia didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 16th minute of the match Luciano Branco shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cacá Botelho showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Cacá Botelho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sydney Monteiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Sydney Monteiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cacá Botelho having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Celsinho Chaves during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Celsinho Chaves hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Dorian Fernandes scored 0-1 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hugo Palmeira, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Hugo Palmeira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hortêncio Loureiro in the 28th minute of play. After 30 played minutes Cheruan got a freekick which was hit by Roberto Vander. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Manoel Perez in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hugo Palmeira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 39th minute, Celsinho Chaves hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dorian Fernandes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 43 minutes, Dorian Fernandes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cheruan's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dorian Fernandes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Caresalzinho SS's Hugo Palmeira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manoel Perez in the 44th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dorian Fernandes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Hugo Palmeira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dorian Fernandes in the 53rd minute of the match. Sydney Monteiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cacá Botelho having to interfere. In the 57th minute Dorian Fernandes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hugo Palmeira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hugo Palmeira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dorian Fernandes, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Cheruan's Cacá Botelho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedrão Camargo in the 64th minute of play. In the 66th minute Pedrão Camargo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cacá Botelho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sydney Monteiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cacá Botelho having to interfere. When the match clock showed 74 minutes, the score became 2-2 when Dorian Fernandes sped through Caresalzinho SS's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Hugo Palmeira. Cacá Botelho stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sydney Monteiro's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. When the match had gone on for 80 minutes, Dorian Fernandes took a quick shot and it went in 2-3 without a chance for Hugo Palmeira to make any attempt to save it. Hugo Palmeira made an important save on a dangerous shot by Manoel Perez in the 83rd minute. With an all-out effort, Cheruan's Hugo Palmeira threw himself towards the right post 85 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Dorian Fernandes, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 90th minute the ball was on its way in behind Caresalzinho SS's goalkeeper Hugo Palmeira, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Caresalzinho SS's Hugo Palmeira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dorian Fernandes in the 94th minute of play. Cacá Botelho came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by Caresalzinho SS's Pedrão Camargo. But to his dismay, Pedrão Camargo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-3.
