Black Hawks's Albertinho Donatello played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bruninho Sarmento in the 14th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfredinho Palmeira in the 28th minute of play forced SC Arapuca's goalkeeper Ernani de Moraes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bruninho Sarmento struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Albertinho Donatello didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Arapuca. After some careless play in the Black Hawks defense, Ricardo Rosado kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Albertinho Donatello. The Black Hawks fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Albertinho Donatello should have stopped the shot. Oséias Nunes kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sydney Alagoano to make the kick off. Ernani de Moraes came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by Black Hawks's Alfredinho Palmeira. But to his dismay, Alfredinho Palmeira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Ricardo Rosado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Albertinho Donatello having to interfere. SC Arapuca's Ernani de Moraes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sydney Alagoano in the 71st minute of play. Ricardo Rosado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Ricardo Rosado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ricardo Rosado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Albertinho Donatello having to interfere. The supporters of Black Hawks booed when SC Arapuca was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Falcão Messias didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Black Hawks's Albertinho Donatello got control of the ball when Bruninho Sarmento tried to sneak it across the goal line.
