Spectators: 7488 (Terracing: 5617, Seating: 1722, VIP seats: 149) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Sydney Alagoano kicked off to start the match. Caetano Ferraz charged in rather forcefully in the 9th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Caetano Ferraz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 9th match minute, Black Hawks was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Caetano Ferraz to maneuver through the defense. Alfredinho Palmeira might have been able to make a better finish in the 16th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marcel de Brito. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alfredinho Palmeira ran back to his position shaking his head. Sydney Alagoano succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 16th playminute. Marcel de Brito showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfredinho Palmeira in the 19th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Efigenia's zone, Alfredinho Palmeira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcel de Brito came out of the goal and Alfredinho Palmeira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Sydney Alagoano kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Marcel de Brito. That made the score 3-0 in the 23 minute of play. During the 28th minute of the match Caetano Ferraz completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Caetano Ferraz a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The supporters of Efigenia booed when Black Hawks was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Caetano Ferraz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Albertinho Donatello showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mário Brito in the 32nd minute of the match. In the 34th minute, Olívio Marinho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alfredinho Palmeira struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Marcel de Brito didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Black Hawks. After having played for 42 minutes, Sydney Alagoano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Black Hawks's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sydney Alagoano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Dadá de Andrade made the kick off in the second half. After having played for 56 minutes, Alfredinho Palmeira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Black Hawks's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alfredinho Palmeira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dadá de Andrade was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 58th minute. Efigenia's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After a rather tough play, Efigenia's Augusto Barros got a free kick in the 60th minute. If Mário Brito had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mário Brito sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dadá de Andrade in the 68th minute of play forced Black Hawks's goalkeeper Albertinho Donatello to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dadá de Andrade got free with Albertinho Donatello in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dadá de Andrade sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 76th minute Dadá de Andrade shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Albertinho Donatello saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. João Carlos Toscano kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Dadá de Andrade could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Albertinho Donatello made a huge save. 89 minutes into the match, Efigenia's goal looked a bit too open when Alfredinho Palmeira came free, but Marcel de Brito reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fábio Travassos took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 95th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Albertinho Donatello. Black Hawks's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When the referee ended the match the Black Hawks players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
