Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Franklin de Medeiros kicked off to start the match. After having played for 8 minutes, Dadá de Andrade managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Efigenia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dadá de Andrade was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Allan Aguiar kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Marcel de Brito made an important save on a dangerous shot by Leandro Pirani in the 16th minute. After having played for 18 minutes, Dadá de Andrade managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Efigenia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dadá de Andrade was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Augusto Barros recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Efigenia getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Ediberto Cerezo hit a great ball. With a little luck, Efigenia's Marcel de Brito got control of the ball when Leandro Pirani tried to sneak it across the goal line. Marcel de Brito made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Franklin de Medeiros in the 31st minute of play. Leandro Pirani's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Marcel de Brito firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 33rd minute, Clóvis Mazza ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marcel de Brito was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. In the 36th minute Allan Aguiar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcel de Brito saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcel de Brito made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Leandro Pirani sent off a good shot on target. Efigenia's Marcel de Brito played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Franklin de Medeiros in the 39th minute of play. In the 47th minute, Armandinho Secco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The wind increased when Dadá de Andrade made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leandro Pirani in the 52nd minute of play forced Efigenia's goalkeeper Marcel de Brito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 53rd minute Leandro Pirani shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcel de Brito saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcel de Brito showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Clóvis Mazza in the 56th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leandro Pirani in the 64th minute of play forced Efigenia's goalkeeper Marcel de Brito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 67 minutes, Ediberto Cerezo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Efigenia and the Samsung FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 68 played minutes Efigenia got a freekick which was hit by Ediberto Cerezo. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Franklin de Medeiros in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcel de Brito saved Efigenia from getting behind. Marcel de Brito took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leandro Pirani, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ediberto Cerezo kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Clóvis Mazza in the 77th minute of play forced Efigenia's goalkeeper Marcel de Brito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Genílson Ceresso hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Marcinho Branco took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 79th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Marcel de Brito. Efigenia's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 80th match minute, Efigenia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ediberto Cerezo to maneuver through the defense. In the 83rd minute Clóvis Mazza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcel de Brito saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mário Brito fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zé Augusto Costa having to interfere. In the 93rd minute, Thiago Maciel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Samsung FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
