With a couple of smart ball manuevers Andrés Talló in the 3rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luisinho Meireles saved Boleiros FC from getting behind. In the 10th match minute, Boleiros FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by João Paulo Dias to maneuver through the defense. 1-0 became the score in the 13th minute when Andrés Talló elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Yan Xi hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. In the 18th minute Andrés Talló shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luisinho Meireles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marasco's Cafu de Queiroz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Agostinho Pombal in the 25th minute of play. 27 minutes into the match, Andrés Talló dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Luisinho Meireles, 2-0. A collision led to Marasco getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Beto Galvão hit a great ball. In the 31stth minute of the game Agostinho Pombal who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Marasco's Cafu de Queiroz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 33 minutes, Lauro Amorim mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Boleiros FC and the Marasco players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ramón Guimarães during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ramón Guimarães hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. 42 minutes into the match, Boleiros FC's goalkeeper Luisinho Meireles had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Andrés Talló. A collision led to Boleiros FC getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. João Paulo Dias hit a great ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Ramón Guimarães made in the 53rd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Paúl Breitner immediately put the ball in play. 58 minutes into the game, Kléberson da Costa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Boleiros FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Marasco the free kick. The supporters of Marasco booed when Boleiros FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kléberson da Costa didn't get a good kick on the ball. 61 minutes into the game, Eusébio Pimenta cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Cafu de Queiroz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Boleiros FC's Luisinho Meireles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andrés Talló in the 67th minute of play. After 69 played minutes Boleiros FC got a freekick which was hit by Magno Domingues. A collision led to Boleiros FC getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Kléberson da Costa hit a great ball. Luisinho Meireles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andrés Talló in the 73rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andrés Talló in the 75th minute of play forced Boleiros FC's goalkeeper Luisinho Meireles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 76 minutes into the game, Marasco's Yan Xi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Luisinho Meireles made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. Boleiros FC made a substitution. Rogério Tinoco replaced Agostinho Pombal. After 81 minutes of play, Marasco's Andrés Talló made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Luisinho Meireles was left in no man's land by his defense there! 85 minutes into the match, Boleiros FC's goal looked a bit too open when Dorival Mota came free, but Luisinho Meireles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 86th minute, Dorival Mota hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 95th minute of the match Paúl Breitner shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Luisinho Meireles showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Marasco had played much better football throughout.
