Richard Rezende came out of the goal in the 9th minute to try and stop a shot by Marasco's Yan Xi. But to his dismay, Yan Xi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 12th minute, Yan Xi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Richard Rezende was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Ingazeira's Richard Rezende played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sydney Pires in the 16th minute of play. In the 20th minute, Sydney Pires hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dorival Mota struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Richard Rezende didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Marasco. In the 26th minute, Yan Xi made a precise shot to the right of Richard Rezende. Ingazeira's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. In the 29th minute, Andrés Talló reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Richard Rezende. The goal made the score 4-1. If Yan Xi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cafu de Queiroz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fausto Abraão in the 37th minute of the match. In the 45th minute, Manuel Vale made a precise shot to the right of Cafu de Queiroz. Marasco's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Andrés Talló made a kick off. In the 54th minute, Manuel Vale left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ingazeira fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-3. Cafu de Queiroz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dadá Rocha in the 57th minute. After 66 minutes of play, Marasco's Dorival Mota made it 5-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. The supporters of Marasco booed when Ingazeira was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Enio Nascimento didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 82nd minute, Yan Xi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Marasco fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-5. Cafu de Queiroz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dadá Rocha in the 86th minute. If Dorival Mota had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dadá Rocha could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Cafu de Queiroz made a huge save. Marasco's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
