The Dragões Barbudos FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Christiano Alagoano should have stopped the shot. In the 11thth minute of the game Sydney Rosa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Dragões Barbudos FC's Christiano Alagoano was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 12 minutes, Percy Rodrigues successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Christiano Alagoano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Remo Dracena in the 15th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lorenzo Erlantz in the 16th minute of play forced Dragões Barbudos FC's goalkeeper Christiano Alagoano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The attack was good, but when Sydney Rosa in the 37th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Sydney Rosa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Catone's supporters rose to their feet, but Sydney Rosa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Christiano Alagoano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Sydney Rosa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sydney Rosa to make the kick off. Dragões Barbudos FC's Christiano Alagoano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sydney Rosa in the 58th minute of play. Christiano Alagoano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sydney Rosa in the 61st minute of the match.
