The supporters of Arariuna F.C booed when Futebol Club Neto was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nelson Luz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jairo Mattos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Silvinho das Neves fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Futebol Club Neto's protests and gave Silvinho das Neves a yellow card for diving instead. In the 10th match minute, Futebol Club Neto was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silvinho das Neves to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Arariuna F.C booed when Futebol Club Neto was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pedro Augusto Ortiz didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 14th minute, Osvaldo do Nascimento hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jairo Mattos in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fausto Canzano saved Futebol Club Neto from getting behind. Futebol Club Neto were awarded a corner in the 20th minute after Arariuna F.C's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Nelson Luz took the corner. Fausto Canzano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nestor Garcia, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Fausto Canzano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jairo Mattos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jairo Mattos might have been able to make a better finish in the 38th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fausto Canzano. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jairo Mattos ran back to his position shaking his head. Fausto Canzano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jairo Mattos in the 38th minute of the match. Jairo Mattos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Fausto Canzano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match clock showed 47 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Jairo Mattos sped through Futebol Club Neto's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Fausto Canzano.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nelson Luz made a kick off. After 60 played minutes Arariuna F.C got a freekick which was hit by Jairo Mattos. Jairo Mattos might have been able to make a better finish in the 66th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fausto Canzano. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jairo Mattos ran back to his position shaking his head. Fausto Canzano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jairo Mattos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jairo Mattos blasted a shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fausto Canzano having to make a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jairo Mattos in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fausto Canzano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Fausto Canzano made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jairo Mattos in the 74th minute. 81 minutes into the match, Futebol Club Neto's goal looked a bit too open when Jairo Mattos came free, but Fausto Canzano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jairo Mattos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jairo Mattos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Fausto Canzano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jairo Mattos blasted a shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fausto Canzano having to make a save. The Futebol Club Neto fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Arariuna F.C were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
