After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Paul Gigante managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mel Mel F C's supporters rose to their feet, but Paul Gigante was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Per-Olof Sikström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tiago Gabriel Valladares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juarês Melo in the 10th minute of play. The supporters of Mel Mel F C booed when Messejana SportClub - DMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Darío Furlan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Paul Gigante recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 16 minutes into the game, Juarês Melo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Tiago Gabriel Valladares was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 20th minute, Paul Gigante ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Per-Olof Sikström was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Juarês Melo got free with Tiago Gabriel Valladares in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 26th minute, Benedykt Adamowicz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Juarês Melo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tiago Gabriel Valladares having to make a save. Tiago Gabriel Valladares came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by Messejana SportClub - DMZ's Juarês Melo. But to his dismay, Juarês Melo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Tiago Gabriel Valladares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juarês Melo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Messejana SportClub - DMZ's Juarês Melo got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mel Mel F C's Tiago Gabriel Valladares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juarês Melo in the 41st minute of play. Juarês Melo struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Tiago Gabriel Valladares didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Messejana SportClub - DMZ. In the 47th minute, Juarês Melo made a precise shot to the right of Tiago Gabriel Valladares. Mel Mel F C's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when César Tande made the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Juarês Melo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Messejana SportClub - DMZ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-1. Tiago Gabriel Valladares was left in no man's land by his defense there! 78 minutes into the match, Mel Mel F C's goal looked a bit too open when Juarês Melo came free, but Tiago Gabriel Valladares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. André Luiz Pitta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tiago Gabriel Valladares having to interfere. 85 minutes into the match, Paul Gigante dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Per-Olof Sikström, 6-3. Tiago Gabriel Valladares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from André Luiz Pitta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Messejana SportClub - DMZ had played much better football throughout.
