Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Ronaldo Fenomeno got the match started through his kick off. Didi Soares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ronaldo Fenomeno in the 3rd minute of the match. If Zeca Lima had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 5th minute the ball was on its way in behind Timbahuba SC's goalkeeper Didi Soares, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some careless play in the Timbahuba SC defense, Ronaldo Fenomeno kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Didi Soares. The Timbahuba SC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Didi Soares should have stopped the shot. Timbahuba SC's Didi Soares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ronaldo Fenomeno in the 13th minute of play. Ronaldo Fenomeno blasted a shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Didi Soares having to make a save. Didi Soares stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ronaldo Fenomeno's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. After 18th play minutes Ronaldo Fenomeno shot 0-3, a short shot which went by Didi Soares and just under the crossbar into goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Zeca Lima managed to get in a good position for a shot. Miau Stars's supporters rose to their feet, but Zeca Lima was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Didi Soares breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 25 minutes, Jefferson do Nascimento mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Timbahuba SC and the Miau Stars players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Timbahuba SC's Jefferson do Nascimento got a free kick in the 25th minute. Ronaldo Fenomeno took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Didi Soares. Didi Soares dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. After 33 minutes of play, Miau Stars's Ronaldo Fenomeno made it 0-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Didi Soares was left in no man's land by his defense there! 36 minutes into the game, Ronaldo Fenomeno cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-7. Didi Soares was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 44th minute, Elias Prata left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Miau Stars fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-8. After the first half Miau Stars were leading 0-8. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Magno de Brito was the one to do the kick off. Timbahuba SC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 52nd minute, when Zeca Lima scored to the left of an out of position Didi Soares, making the score, 0-9. In the 57th minute, Miau Stars's Ronaldo Fenomeno dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-10. Timbahuba SC's Didi Soares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ronaldo Fenomeno in the 59th minute of play. 63 minutes into the game, Zeca Lima recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Didi Soares. Zeca Lima showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-11. The crowd rose to their feet as Ronaldo Fenomeno kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Didi Soares. That made the score 0-12 in the 67 minute of play. Didi Soares stood somewhat misplaced when Ronaldo Fenomeno came free in front of goal and shot 0-13 to the left of him in the 70 minute. Pedrinho Fahlmann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pedrinho Fahlmann blasted a shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Didi Soares having to make a save. Zeca Lima fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Didi Soares having to interfere. In the 84th minute, Miau Stars's Pedrinho Fahlmann dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-15. Didi Soares came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by Miau Stars's Pedrinho Fahlmann. But to his dismay, Pedrinho Fahlmann quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-16. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pedrinho Fahlmann got free with Didi Soares in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 93 minutes into the match, Pedrinho Fahlmann had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Didi Soares. Timbahuba SC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pedrinho Fahlmann was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-17.
