Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luiz Fabiano de Carvalho in the 92nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Didi Soares prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Didi Soares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luiz Fabiano de Carvalho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Freek Tamminga got free with Didi Soares in the 99th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match was over Manchester United FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Timbahuba SC throughout the match.
